EST Marie Curie FellowshipIn order to award the Euro-PhD in Advanced Drug Delivery the candidates have to demonstrate international mobility and research experience. They must have worked at a research facility in a country other than the country where they have obtained their local doctoral degree.
For graduated students in the field of Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Medicine or Material Sciences who are interested in the development of Advanced Drug Delivery Systems and who wish to spend 12 months of the research project abroad the GALENOS-Network offers a Marie Curie Host Fellowship for Early Stage Training in the 6th Framework Programme of the European Commission.
In the framework of these fellowships the European PhD students shall be able to spend one year of research training abroad and shall in addition receive special scientific training in so-called Thematic Workshops and supplementary soft skills training in so-called Management Training Courses.
If you are a working on a doctoral thesis in the field Advanced Drug Delivery Systems and wish to spend 12 months of your research project abroad – contact us!
As exciting developments relevant to Advanced Drug Delivery are currently taking place in different specific areas, this consortium has decided to focus on the four most important thematic focus areas where the scientific excellence of the Consortium members is recognised at an internationally competitive top-level, and where new scientific knowledge is expected to have the highest impact on the development of Advanced Drug Delivery Systems and thus for the faster development of new safe medicines. The proposed focus areas and their representation by the Consortium members are the following:
1. Cell culture models of biological barriers:
2. Skin and (trans)dermal drug delivery: 3. Nano-particles and other colloidal carriers for drug, gene and vaccine delivery: 4. Pulmonary drug delivery: |
